In Need Of Prayer

Hey ladies, just want to pop in to ask for some prayer for Talia's family and friends.  Here is her request.

"Last night I was absent bc my parents best friends came over to relax and get their minds off the anticipation of getting back their daughters medical results. The are a couple around the same age of my parents with also two daughters. The girls are 32 and 33 yrs old. The 32 yrs old was rushed to the hospital 3 days ago with severe stomach pains. This morning they were notified she is going into surgery due to colon cancer.... Lets pray"

Let us pray for miraculous healing!  That he will be able to ease the pain of this young woman, and ease the hearts of her loved ones.  I pray that her surgery will be a success and be able to remove the cancer!  God is the almighty powerful one and let his will be done.  Amen.

October 20th 2010 Esther 3:1-5

Remember the movie "Mean Girls" with Lindsey Lohan? Doesn't it suck how mean people can be, and how it affects you as a person to feel anger or wrath?  You know you've dealt with it sometime or another weather it was you that was being mean or someone being mean to you.  Well within our study it tied in with the two rivals Mordecai and Haman from in the book of Esther 3:1-5.  We see that there is history between the two "Mordecai, a Jew from the tribe of Benjamin and a descendant of King Saul" and "Haman, a presumed Amalekite and descendant of Agag, their king during Saul reign". Which you can read 1 Samuel 14 *I'm sorry I'm not sure verse it is at this time and I hope to update it when I get chance*  But as you can see meanness always has a history and it is like a virus which can spread from generation to generation.  I just hope we can all learn from these chapters that we can break this bondage and be more like Christ by following his word.

By reading Romans 12:17-21(NIV) "Meanness can be CURED"
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

So I pray to God tonight with this being my first post that it can speak to others to remove this meanness in our hearts that we can be more like him and bring love to one another.  I also pray that this blog will be a success to help share his message with others.  Thank you God for all that you do, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Thank you for taking the time to read.  I hope that the other ladies in our group will share and this blog will be a success.  Please check out the Calendar of events for upcoming events If you have any questions, or suggestions please email them to:
