October 20th 2010 Esther 3:1-5

Remember the movie "Mean Girls" with Lindsey Lohan? Doesn't it suck how mean people can be, and how it affects you as a person to feel anger or wrath?  You know you've dealt with it sometime or another weather it was you that was being mean or someone being mean to you.  Well within our study it tied in with the two rivals Mordecai and Haman from in the book of Esther 3:1-5.  We see that there is history between the two "Mordecai, a Jew from the tribe of Benjamin and a descendant of King Saul" and "Haman, a presumed Amalekite and descendant of Agag, their king during Saul reign". Which you can read 1 Samuel 14 *I'm sorry I'm not sure verse it is at this time and I hope to update it when I get chance*  But as you can see meanness always has a history and it is like a virus which can spread from generation to generation.  I just hope we can all learn from these chapters that we can break this bondage and be more like Christ by following his word.

By reading Romans 12:17-21(NIV) "Meanness can be CURED"
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

So I pray to God tonight with this being my first post that it can speak to others to remove this meanness in our hearts that we can be more like him and bring love to one another.  I also pray that this blog will be a success to help share his message with others.  Thank you God for all that you do, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Thank you for taking the time to read.  I hope that the other ladies in our group will share and this blog will be a success.  Please check out the Calendar of events for upcoming events If you have any questions, or suggestions please email them to:
